Faisal Al-Hefeiti stated that the UAE Cabinet paid its attention to the “flag”, and issued a comprehensive procedural and advisory guide on the uses of the state flag, which included a detailed explanation on dealing with the state flag in all circumstances, in a way that unifies its uses, preserves its prestige from tampering, and preserves it as a symbol of the homeland and an emblem for the people. Al-Hefeiti explained that the national occasion is during which the flag is raised on buildings, facilities and institutions as an expression of belonging and loyalty to the homeland and its leadership, in a way that enhances the feeling of belonging to the homeland and consolidates the leading position and bright image of the Emirates, in addition to presenting a creative model of manifestations of cohesion among the people of the homeland.
